RoseSorter is a political quiz that attempts to assign you to a DSA Caucus or Tendency (an unofficial ideological grouping within DSA) that matches your views, utilizing a flowchart model. This test will sort you into one of 18 DSA caucuses.
Most caucuses are internally diverse and strategically flexible. Your result reflects the tendency whose general platform most closely matched your answers. Reading the points of unity for a DSA caucus, or better yet organizing within DSA and getting to know organizers on the ground will do a better job of helping you find your political home within DSA than any online quiz.
This project was made possible due to the initial concept of flow-chart style ideological sorter I discovered with Ideosorter, the guides to political tendencies in DSA created by the Libertarian Socialist Caucus of DSA, and The Rose Garden DSA Substack, the insights into the resolution votes made by NPC candidates that I found within Aaron's 2025 National DSA Convention HQ, and the many caucused friends that helped me navigate their caucus' strategic alignment.
